New GL has been invited to Omis training camp.

There are 8 goalkeepers in the list.

beside Kia, Rezaei, Parsaand Esmaeili there are 4 more keepers among them Esfandiari has more playing time for club. Nikpour has played many games for U19 too.

َOne week has past and by end of next week Mahdavidkia will meet all players in the list
Idea was chance to know players from close and face to face, evaluate them in general/

Behind the scene he is busy structuring his team and staffs in addition to plan for next month matches
Meanwhile he has to prepare list of 50 players by end of training camp for AFC then he has to list 32 players for next training camp.
It will not be easy task but hopefully he can use advice from few good coaches of PSG at this stage,

He did not prepared list of 66 but will be responsible for list of 50 & 32.

Some of players are starters for their clubs and he has to insist in having them since new league to start when U23 has games.

He must start strong.

Hazbavi ( Foulad CB) is invited to U23.
He has been with U16 & U19

next to Milad Kor he is youngest player (18) in the list and more likely both are candidate for future given their age . There are few good CB players already in the list Houshmand, Shahabbasi, Fallah...

There are so many GK & CB players in the list while not even 3 RB
Tomorrow 3rd group will start practice and not much time to add a RB.

I assume Mahdavikia plan to use none specialist for RB position

Tallest FW is Mohebi

Group 3 will have Moharrami CBand Azadi FW

Shortest players are Asadabadi, Ghaderi...

Today third group to begin their training .
When all started IFF promissed of 3 foreign coaches but we only got one sofar. Goalkeeper coach has not yet arrived but hopefully will arrive for next week training of short list.


There are good players in each group and some of them play regularly for their teamsand some mostly on the bench.

Azadi was member of past U23 but did not play much and now moved from Panetolikos to Esteghlal so far on the bench.
Moharammi from U19 , perhapes tallest CB play for Malavan .He played 1,693 Min for Malavan last season.
Hasheminejad from U19 is mostly starter for Malavan and very good RW who can score, full of energy. has played over 4,000 min for Malavan.
Parham Javadi is another CB who is starter for Chooka Talesh , Last season he played about 1,500 Min and scored 5 Goals for Chooka.

لیست نهایی ۲۰ مهر مشخص خواهد شدو بعد از آن هم در قطر اردو داریم و بعد هم به مسابقات تاجیکستان اعزام می شویم

.وی در مورد اینکه با وجود تاخیر در شروع تمرینات تیم ملی امید در حالی که کشورهای دیگر چندین اردو را پشت سر گذاشتند می توانند موفق شوند یا خیر گفت:

متاسفانه سرمربی دیر معلوم شد ولی آقای مهدی مهدوی کیا کم تجربه نیست و تجربه لازم را در مربیگری به خصوص در رده های پایه دارد.
سه روزی که با ایشان کار کردم خیلی چیزها یاد گرفتم و از قبل هم روی من شناخت داشت.
با آمدن آقای مهدوی کیا و دستیاران آلمانی اش برای صعود به المپیک خیلی امیدوار شدیم.

Mahdavikia mit neuem Trainer-Job im Iran

In the U16 derby against St. Pauli (1:3), Mehdi Mahdavikia (44) was no longer on the HSV bench for the first time. Rodolfo Cardoso (52) has taken over his job as assistant coach of Thomas Johrden.
The two club idols have swapped their tasks in the "Campus". While Cardoso should now help to lead the U16 out of the basement of the regional league, Mahdavikia takes over the role as technical coach. When he is in Hamburg.
The winger, who played 263 competitive matches (34 goals, 57 assists) for Hamburg between 1999 and 2007, is expected to make Iran's U21 national team fit for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.


The former crowd favourite has been working in the HSV junior team since 2015 and has not yet been head coach.

In Iran, Mahdavikia has been running its own youth academy, the Kia Football Academy, for years. There he developed a lot of junior national players.



The former international (110 senior internationals for Iran) has invested a lot of time and money in his project. With great effort, he already scouts 11- and 12-year-olds.
Despite the new task at home – Hamburg remains the home for Mahdavikia and his family. And in the Volkspark he wants to continue to stand on the training ground.

توافق گل محمدی و مهدوی کیا بر سر بازیکن تیم امید

تنها بازیکنی که از تیم پرسپولیس به اردوی تیم امید دعوت شده بود محمد شریفی بود. با توجه به اهمیت دیدار پرسپولیس در برابر الهلال در مرحله یک چهارم نهایی لیگ قهرمانان آسیا و با توافق یحیی گل محمدی و مهدی مهدوی کیا قرار شد محمد شریفی بعد از این بازی در اردوی تیم امید حاضر شود که به نظر می رسد با توجه به سپری شده بیشتر تمرینات تیم امید تا پیش از مسابقه یاد شده احتمالا سرمربی تیم امید بعد از بازی های مقدماتی بازیکن پرسپولیس را به اردوی امید دعوت خواهد کرد.
