    Shariatzadeh
    Yousefi-Salmani-Sadeghi
    Khodabandelo-Ghorbani
    Jafari - Kor - Fallah - Hasheminejad
    Parsa Jafari

    2 changes
    At RB Hasheminejad replacing Khodaei
    At DM Ghorbani replacing Zavari

Logical changes. Hasheminasab was absent last games because of his club games
Ghorbabi is physically bigger /taller than Zavari , is there to counter Abdulsalam. and for CK since Shariatzadeh not tall enough against 2 tall Qatari CB.
Ghorbani at Nasaji has experienced as CB & DM.

Ali Karami #2 playing RB for Qatar
            Ali is from Asalouyeh

ok half from kia's boys vs well coached qatari unit.

They clearly had focussed on limiting yasin's influence, but he was still able to create dangerous situations. Yousefi looked very dangerous again. Ghorbani in DM line was calming presence, solid in possession and good defensively. Hasheminejad gave good energy and technique from RB, can see why Kia likes him.

Issue is lack of proper CF. Shariatzadeh is not real 9 and struggles to hold the ball and connect the play.

From the time Barzegar left the team, U23 has no good CFW.
He should have been in the list just for third game against Uzbekistan I think

It's wild how much more offensive cohesion our U23 team has compared to TM.

In the midfield yes, in the forward line, definitely no.
The efficiency of TM is way higher.

So many chances for Iran in second half!

I don't know about you guys but I was expecting much more...

We usually score when I say shit like that, so that's that!

                          Commentator has been very knowledgable.
Fallah has one slip up for every good defensive move.
As I type that Qatar scores in the 86th minute. Defense (Fallah) got caught out.
Against run of play. TM Omid wasted so many chances today.

                            Qatar score. 1-0 86th minute.

Iran has no real goal-scoring threat and they are pretty toothless in the final third.

Fallah has been real disappointing. Too many errant passes and makes some real bad mistakes. Kor looks like the better prospect, if we were to judge by this game (also the Iraqi friendly games as well).

                                Iran score. 1-1

Nice "gheychi" goal. Fallah wins a nice contested header to get Erfan clear.
