Bad weather prevented their flight to Baghdad.

maybe i have missed something but isnt it strange that Mahdavikia and assistants travel 1-2 days before game starts?
isnt it better if they are in Iran atleast a week before and start preparing themselves and camp and everything else?
plus then they get a margin for errors like the flight thing, basicly if flight canceled they miss everything since they dont have any margins.
feels like Kia (who I allways supported) isnt taking this serious enough?

sandstorm cancels flight of mahdavi kia and yadegar rostami's foreign assistants from istanbul to baghdad
mahdavi kia's two foreign assistants and one of the players invited to omid's team were scheduled to join the team's camp in iraq last night, but sandstorms and dust in regional countries, especially in baghdad, cancelled their flight from istanbul to baghdad.
according to the football federation's official website, dutch assistant john lamers, mehdi mahdavi kia and german mario miltner, coach of the omid team's goalkeepers along with yadegar rostami, who is currently batting in polish football, were scheduled to arrive in baghdad around 22:00 last night from the netherlands, germany and poland, but the storm and dust cancelled their flight.
mahdavi kia and yadegar rostami's two foreign assistants are currently at a hotel in istanbul, and as soon as the weather is favorable and flights resume, they will fly from istanbul to baghdad on the first flight to join the omid team's camp.
after holding two friendly matches with iraq on may 24 and 27, iran's omid team will head to tashkent to compete in the afc u-23 championship in uzbekistan......

He usually come to Iran the day of training or a day before and leave immediately.
I have mention and criticizing this policy several times in the past but he is loved by fans and has IFF & Media support and will get away with that.
As i have mention before main reason is he has Job in Germany beside U23 job and has to arrange and clear his schedule to be in Iran with U23.
This time it is really worse.
He came in Iran alone and asked his assistants and Rostami to join U23 in iraq. He was 2 days in Iran only.
That's the ways it has been "n nothing new.
