V3 regarding U23 situation.


Mirshad Majedi who is Chairman of youth committee and and member of board of IFF is in a position to know about status of U23 team and their coaches but it appears as he is clueless and confuse with no answers.

"The goals of the U23 team include attending theAFC u-23 Championship and the 2022 As ian games, which will be held in June and the Asian games in September.
Our planning after the qualification in Tajikistan was based on this, Coach announced that there will hold the team's training in Next FIFA days ".

Regarding Cancelations of training camps:

"The technical staff were supposed to present their plans for FIFA days at the same time as TM played against Iraq and the UAE which of course did not happen. in fact, the cancellation of the national team's planned camp was due to Mahdavi kia's failure to present the team's schedule. Under these circumstances, it is not clear when the national team's camps will be held."

Regarding Contracts with coaches:

"Mahdavi kia's contract with the IFF is ready to be signed. Financial and legal department has approved the terms, but i do not really know the reason why this contract is not signed. Maybe some options want to put in this contract, and that's because the contract hasn't been signed.

"We are waiting for Mahdavi kia to present his plans and sign a contract between the parties so that the work of Omid national team can go ahead as quickly as possible."

Rather than all useless comments of "but I don't know why," he should ask his boss Khadem why.

He has not played much yet for Sepahan, I saw his game versus MIS and he played well.
He is one of few new players Sepahan introduced this season, Yousefi, Mohkamkar, Gudarzi,.

Gudarzi used to play for U16 few years ago and Mohkamkar was selected for U19 by Mahabadi over a year ago.

Aria is from Mahshahr and started football for Naft Ahwaz then moved to Foulad Academy before moving to Esfahan.
So far, he is a promising young player and hopefully will become Sepahan starter in future.

Contrary to what Salehi Amiri claims A FIFA day was lost with no news of any program.

"While the president of the national Olympic committee claims that Omid national team with its head coach is preparing and pursuing to attend the Asian championships, there is no progress in announcing or even starting the team's plans.".

Traditionally Olympic Commitee is responsible for U23 Olympic team and select U23 coaches but they usually deligate that selection to IFF.
Salehi Amiri (President of Olympic committee) two days ago in reference to the status of U23 and coaches made comment the were inaccurate if not ignorant.

Yesterday IFF chief Azizi Khadem made eronious statement regarding same subject. His comments were more of propaganda and misinformation and hardly any truth.

Khadem became IFF chief over a year ago and Mahdavikia was selected on short term less then 6 months ago.
All other previous administration participated in qualification, nothing new so far.

We just missed January FIFA days. There were no PGL games it was the best opportunity and before writting to AFC may be betther doing own job.

Current Half season break is the best time for U23 training but there is no plan and no coach around.
