Following the PFDC posts in the past year I was already surprised by all the flowery praise for the man, as if he's become Frenkie DeJung or something.
But I frankly havent seen such a drastic "transformation" to warrant such views.
yes, he's quite active and has been used in a weird new post with new duties. But I just cant understand the LB posting.

Only dumb thing about this lineup is salmani at RB. He isn’t a RB, he’s hardly even a LB, at max a LWB In 352.

I assume sadegh is being rested for Iraq gsme which is smart by skocic but imo better to start hardani who is an actual right back than salmani there.

Amiri played some LB for Persepolis and was solid, so with no hajsafi it makes sense. I personally prefer amiri in midfield but we will see how he does.

Have you watched Amiri play LB before? He did GREAT there for Persepolis which if you think about what he brings to the pitch it’s not a surprise. The guy is pure hustle, toughness, speed, and a smart guy. Just ask nourdean amrabat how much his head still hurts from his collision with Amiri in the WC in 2018. That’s a good asset to have in the back.

This is absolutely an attacking formation, historically this hasn't been good for us, but i believe the amount of talent as well as legionaries we have out there is also something we have never had.
