CB in a 3 back D vs deep DM that he usually plays for TM is not that much of a difference.

He will never be a box to box midfielder we hoped he would become when he was a kid. He is a classic 6 and frankly the more 90 mins he gets before the WC the better. He is naturally gifted enough to play the 6 position.

Talent has never been the issue, his lack of fitness / stamina for various reasons has always been the problem.

I'm just thankful he is playing.

Beggars can’t be choosers. All I need right now is for him to just be on the field and just run. I could care less what he does on that team. Just be in some sort of a shape come November. We are going to need him.

They lost 0-3, red card for their goalkeeper after 17 min. He played as CB in a 3 man defense. Some fans write that he was slow and his attitude was quite uninspiring. I didn't watch the game.

I can’t find a clear one of his right arm, but here’s some of it: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/834221530959119575/

There’s an interview he did with Navad with his family 4-5 years ago where he says it’s of himself. He said his dad was always on his back to shed the lbs

So happy to hear that Saeid is back with Vejle and is playing games. I agree with everyone who says we need him at the World Cup. Yes, it is true that Saeid's form dropped for months. But his performances with Team Melli against Uruguay (specially), Senegal, and even against Algeria last June prove that he's a crucial piece in our 11. There's so much chemistry between him and the CBs/wingbacks (Moharrami who he's played with since they were 15). We need him healthy and in form!

I really hope not that this trend continues in TM, he playing as CB. He's much more useful in midfield.

Good that he is playing now….at least he is taking a step in the right direction now (which one month ago was not the case).

Every single day for him between now and WC, or actually every single hour, should be training/resting/injury prevention like his life depends on it.

He proved, contrary to what most of us believed, that his talent alone can carry him for individual matches against top opposition vs Uruguay and Senegal. That in itself is an insane statement of just how good the guy is, considering his last games before that were 6 months ago getting ran over by foolad with Gharafa.

I am sure the TM staff has given him an individual program (probably also communicated about him with vejle staff) that he needs to follow exactly. IF he can trim 5+ lbs in the next couple months that would be ideal, his recovery speed is still as slow as a turtle. Playing games regularly on the weekend, whatever the level, will only help.

He started the game and they are currently 1-0 up. According to LiveScore he started as part of a three man central defence.
