Top clubs won't come for him, or he need astounding performance in CL which will be difficult with a team like zenit. And even if they take him, they will make him warm the bench.
About sub top clubs, if you take out lyon, leverkusen, napoli, roma, lazio, you don't have a lot of team left. Sevilla, Valencia maybe.
Right. They dont appreciate to deal with zenit, hence they wont have to, that is what makes a free transfer so damn attractive!!!

You are correct. Do not expect top clubs to come in for him, but you are taking lyon + leverkusen out of potential suitors for no reason. Thats the minimum team he will go to. I think he will get slightly better offers. Atalanta, Sevilla maybe, in addition to those.

A crazy CL performance could tempt 1 team like AC or inter milan.

You have to be realistic even if you are dissapointed. For value for money next summer there will be no better player on the market than azmoun.

With a transfer to OL or Bayer leverkusen next summer, Azmoun would be 27. That's doesn't leave too much time to adapt, improve, convince a top club and play successfully there

again. the difference between 27 and 26 is nothing, you can afford to take more of a risk on age when you are signing the player for free. You make it sound like difference is 27 and 22, its literally 8 months, actually 4 until he can start negotiating with other teams.

Anyways lets be happy sardar doesnt have this defeatist mentality. He holds the cards, he can dictate an even better transfer by continuing this form and adding a few CL goals, and he will get his move in the end, provided he doesnt extend with zenit. There is no reason for him to be unhappy right now. Would it have been ideal to transfer this summer, yes. But it is not the end of the world like you make it seem

And if you remove out collective Iranian PTSD and see what objective non iranians are saying...Lyon fans all over twitter think they wont be able to get him bc much stronger teams will move in. Most italian fans and non russian experts of RPL are convinced good italian clubs will go for him on a free, they are surprised lyon even got close to him.

27 compared to 26 means, he will have one season less to play in the rest of his career, out of Russia.
The younger you are, the easier he will adapt and improve in a top league. He already waste too much time in Russia, in particular in kazan to waste an other season in this weak league. How Azmoun will adapt in a top league with a sub top team while having play so long in a the dominant team in a average league?

I wasn't quoting age because of its impact on potential suitors, even if it will still be a factor for someone with such nationality, only playing in Russian league

How will azmoun adaptation be significantly different in 8 months time compared to now. It wont. And he will be free so again the risk is offset considerably.

Anyways one thing I think you should learn is that in sports world dissapointment is natural but prolonged periods of crying is just loser mentality that is part of Iranians problem.

If you are a real top athlete/footballer you pick yourself up after non-ideal scenario and go again. Would it best if he moved this summer? Yes. did it happen? no. Is his form the best its been in his life? Yes. If he continues like this will he get a good transfer on a free? Yes.

So should he/we cry about being 8 months older when he transfers? The answer is only no.

He can still do something big for iranian football like he has already done in the past if he doesnt lose himself mentally...So far no evidence of that happening.

Azmoun should be playing as a starter of a top club at a point of his career. He has the ability to do so (like AK had all to become one of a top players in the football world). That should be his ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is not Lyon or leverkusen. This kind of clubs are just stepping stones. So the sooner you join them, the better.

Now the question is how to reach one of these top clubs, considering young Brazilian and players from others top teams or top leagues will be in their shopping list. All these players will be favored for playing time. We all see it with JB. It is easier to bench and sh1t on an iranian coming from a small league than some other players.

it's pretty simple actually; Azmoun know this is his prime and he has to leave. he will not extend (it would contradict his ambitions).
Although i agree leaving asap is best, we all agree on this, (their is nothing to gain @Zenit anymore), but since he can sign transfer free in januari its not that bad!

He is on fire & on his place @Zenit. Let him shine for a few more months. Making a bunch of goals and go to a top-5 league free.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

Apparently Luuk De Jong is close to moving from Sevilla to Barca. Wish Sevilla would’ve signed Azmoun in his place but it’s probably way too late now

Apparently that's what Mbappe will attempt to do with Real Madrid after PSG apparently rebuffed Madrid's 220 million Euro offer; so Zenit is not the only team that can be unreasonable and this kind of stuff can happen to any caliber player. At least, when Jan 1 comes around, Azmoun is free to make his own decision and is not at the mercy of Zenit (e.g. transfer fee amount, finding a replacement for him, etc.).

Barcelona is trying to sign Luuk de Jong according to Fabrizio. This guy has under performed everywhere except league soorakh. A ladder could do what he does on the field. Unbelievable.

Lol if they have de jong and braithwaite as their forwards then it’s safe to say shabbaszadeh and abbaszadeh are both Barca quality forwards

Barca is becoming an mediocre team..
How things can change. From Ronaldinho and Messi to Brathwaite and de Jong. Even Depay shouldn't be playing for Barca..
