Not an good choice against 3rd placed team.
    I agree it's a bit harsh. Especially when you consider that aursnues is suspended and Toornstra would naturally take his spot.
    I guess Slot is really not happen with Alireza's turnovers and thinks a Team like AZ can capitalise on them

        AZ up 2-0 already. 31st minute of play.

        Not surprised that Alireza didn’t start this game - the manager publicly lambasted him last game. Very unprofessional.

        Hopefully without Alireza, Feyenoord keep losing.

                Btw, his replacement, Toornstra is the second lowest graded player according to FotMob.

                VAR disallowed goal. Still 2-0

                  Slot slighted Alireza before the game too - what’s this guy’s problem?

                  ====

                  The decision to pass Alireza Jahanbakhsh for the game against AZ was a difficult one for Feyenoord coach Arne Slot and his technical staff. The wing attacker has not been playing well enough lately, according to Slot, who sets up Jens Toornstra as right winger.

                  Slot has made the necessary changes to his line-up compared to the previous game. For example, Jahanbakhsh and Fredrik Aursnes are missing. "Aursnes has been suspended, that's why we drafted Hendrix," Slot begins in front of ESPN's camera. "Toornstra is a combination of factors. He fills that position differently than Ali, which is one. The second is that Jens has been doing very well during the training sessions and practice matches in recent weeks. That is also nothing new, you know what you get about Jens have."

                  The decision to pass Jahanbakhsh was not an easy one for Slot. "Ali, apart from the fact that he has had returns in recent weeks... In my opinion he just didn't play well, a lot of ball loss. This is just not a game in which we can afford a lot of ball loss. It is always difficult to pass players, especially with Alireza, who had such a great time here (in Alkmaar, ed.)."

                    Slot being very unreasonable here, Jahanbakhsh was scoring more goals in the last few weeks and he was in an upward spiral. Didn't deserve any benching and I think Slot is making him a scapegoat when things don't go well. But I guess he got what he deserved.

                      Slot made a tactical fart right here, with Hendrix and Toornstra as two typical defensive midfielders and Alireza on the bench you have zero creativity in the team except for Kokcu and Sinisterra. Masterclass from Arne

                        Pederson coming on but not Alireza. Lol

                        Yea Arne, that's what will fix this shit. A fullback swap

                          Looking forward to the manager publicly slating his other players after the match.
