Wasn't really involved offensively in the 2nd half, but when he was, he had nice dribbles and smart passes. Not really his fault as the dynamic of the game changed and Slavia more or less controlled the ball.

Overall a solid game from him despite the underwhelming stats. However, he does need to start scoring and assisting more if he wants to attract sole clubs in a bigger league.

        Match vs Vitesse just started.

JB with a dangerous giveaway that almost leads to an opposition goal.

I'm watching it on ESPN +.

And Feyenoord just concede after a defensive error. Down 1-0 early.

Arsenal player Nelson is fit again, so JB better starts performing, otherwise he'll be benched pretty soon.

Ali actually played a decent game. Created some chances also made some mistakes. Nothing to warrant losing his position. The yellow he received was for talking back to the ref.

His team didn't have a good game, sinesterra missed a couple sitters. Til, linsson etc all had their share of misses. They simply weren't clicking as a unit. Slot moved AJ to a more CF / ST position for the last 10 mins of the game.

Vitesse played the most rediculous time wasting game I have ever seen. 2 reds in the waning minute's. It was disgusting

Not a chance, Arne Slot his nr 1 priority signing. And Slot already stated (before the Vitesse match) that AliReza will get the time he need to become fully fit. He also stated that he knows that AliReza is a "slow starter" at a new club and had some issues which resulted in less quality games.

AliReza is their biggest player, he will play at least all the games until the winter break.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

Yes you can say that and it's good to say that so everybody stays calm and JB feels that he has his back.

But IF you start loosing games and JB isn't even average of course he will be benched

The issue is that Ali is not playing below the standard of the team. Therefore the weekly talk of him getting benched because he didn't score is premature.

Also the way this team is setup currently sinesterra, linsson and til push forward while Ali and toornstra join into attack after / provide cover in the midfield. Based on the games I have watched (which is just about all of them) he is playing more like a true RM and less of a pure RW / RS like he did at AZ.

You basically end up with til, sinesterra, linsson up top and Ali, kokcu, and toornstra/aursnes in midfield.

Now yesterday when they needed the score Slot pushed Ali to a CF/ RS position and Ali had a decent shot on goal.

again, not a chance. Its the coach his signing, he believes in him.
U can turn what u say 180 degree around and say that you are thinking way ahead of yourself by going on theories of a losing string of games ; - )

This thread makes me so much happier than the painful one we had to go to last year glad Alireza is where he feels comfortable and is respected. His confidence is shining and he is really helping TM in this round of qualifiers
