Lol yeah I didn't really mean dribbling, more like he has a better touch than Noorafkan

AK is a technically and tactically much higher level footballer than most iranian mids, good game IQ. I think CQ was also fan of his but every time he tried working him into rotation he would get injured. I remember him and Saeid forming great duo in midfield vs Montenegro away, in a game we won with 2 azmoun goals. They looked like mid partnership for the future (At the time AK was in Dinamo Zagreb).

Issue with him is covering speed and general mobility, and ofc lack of consistent fitness/playing time. If he can build up the last two before WC he will still be better option than 8292812 turnovers a game nourollahi, with his defensive IQ of a squirrel.
If they are all at their peak and healthy, a Ghoddos-Ezatolahi-Ali Karimi midfield is very good - with an older Omid Ebrahimi filling in.

Well hes been in great form. I thought he performed quite solidly vs SK as well (him and Kanani both).

He showed strong mentality from tough situation in trabzonspor, going to smaller club and re-proving his credentials. You could see his confidence blossoming with the goals and assists he added even. This is much more impressive than anything other CBs accomplished.

The best 2 CBs at the moment are Hosseini and Kanani. They compliment each other well. Both are very solid on the ball and have good speed and aerial ability.

Moharrami is one of SKo's favorites and will almost definitely start. But I can see Shoja playing LB in certain situations, plus ofc covering at CB.

Why not? Dude played well against Spain and Portugal and got WC experience.

I think Shoja will start as our right back at the WC. Majid is much better CB and with Shoja out, I think he will cement his place in TM 11.
