"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

The thing is that fasting can honestly help players play better.Originally posted by Futbaldoost View PostGood news is that Ramadan ends on Monday. If he can play like this while fasting, imagine what he will do in Lisbon next year in his first match after Ramadan in a while.
Go Mehdi!

24 goals and 17 assists across all competitions this season so far. What an achievement, especially when he has played in a non striker role for a lot of this season be this on the left wing or playing behind the striker in a playmaker role.
Last season he got 23 goals and 18 assists, with 3 games left this season he is set to beat that.
Since going to Portugal he has (I think) 68 goals and 40 assists in all competitions.

not really. It has been known to give a lot of athletes mental edge. Look at the results algeria achieved during 2014 WC. Basketball players like Kareem Abdul Jabbar were known by their teammates to play even better while fasting.Originally posted by Frank Ocean View Postno it does not help players play better and just like any other koran statement it is pure bullsh1t made up by idiots
Not saying it impacts everybody the same way, some have significant performance affects and for that reason may not fast, but to say its bullshit is pretty wide of the mark

Even look at Hakeem and Kyrie Irving. Also Enes Kanter in the playoffs a few years ago. Proven to make players betterOriginally posted by inarsenewetrust View Postnot really. Dude why so rude? Which part of your body is burning right now? Its a physiological fact that your body is released of toxins and your liver is working more freely hence more energy freed to run. If you have a problem with a religion maybe first go figure out what is wrong in your personal life first instead of labelling it as „bullshit“. Thats rude and shows that your life is full of bullshit i guessOriginally posted by Frank Ocean View Postno it does not help players play better and just like any other koran statement it is pure bullsh1t made up by idiots

We all love Taremi. He fills 2 /3 hours of our lives (and for many of us this drags till next day) every week with excitement, anticipation and real joy for most of us for free. Priceless. Long live Mehdi Taremi. Damet garm Agha Mehdi!Originally posted by Futbaldoost View Post
