how's Sporting looking this season..? Benfica looked a real strong side today ....
Porto need to strengthen their MF to have a good chance of winning the league..? looks like its gonna be a 3 way dogfight till the end.?
Sporting was especially clutch performing towards the end of last... i dont see how they could get as lucky again this season..?

Porto have so far not had best midfield combos available.

Marko Grujic (Serb) they signed permanently from liverpool after promising loan last season for EU 10 mio is the standout signing and guy they really are banking on.

Unfortunately hes been struggling with fitness so far, but hes back on bench tonight. Sergio as you mentioned before is outta fitness/form/favor it seems and this guy bruno costa who is typical run a lot avg mid is getting good mins so far.

Think eventually the starting 3 will be Uribe,Grujic,Otavio which has plenty of quality and good combo to give team a strong base.

Im more worried about their defense...Pepe can't play every game, Mbemba is solid, but besides those 2 just question marks. No other standout CBs, young or old, even though they bought a LB idk how much of an upgrade he is, now playing Joao mario as RB (formerly RW or even Striker) is another big question mark.

Porto could easily be down 3-0, but their GK made some big saves.

They need to infuse some creativity in offense if they want to walk away with any points.

Sporting the superior team in every aspect.
SC getting out coached. Porto's backline getting burned on counters or making risky passes. Mid field unable to create anything. Luis Diaz invisible, Corona grass-rolling, and Mehdi has spent the entire game drinking chai in the offside zone.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mehdi and Corona taken out at half time or early in the 2nd half.
