As diz jaan has been trying to calm nerves here about Mehdi, I am just reminding everyone that this is a meaningless match for Porto since they are out of Taca da Liga. This is a good testing ground for young players and reserves. Having said that, Pepe (the young forward) just scored.
Go Mehdi!

I noticed that too. Thank you for pointing that out. I am not sure why Liga Nos, Belgian Pro League and Greek Super League are not honoring the FIFA days in January (according to their current schedules). EPL, Eredivisie and Turkish Super League honor those days. Anybody knows what's going on?Originally posted by milad_b View Postdamn this league and World cup qualifiers is really messed! They will surely cancel it because CONMEBOL and CONCACAF also have games on 27/jan . So Porto will atleast miss 2 of their main players (mehdi and diaz) . + Wendel, Corona , Evanilson , Pepê , Uribe etc.... (if any of those are invited)Originally posted by Futbaldoost View PostI noticed that too. Thank you for pointing that out. Its same for other teams to like sporting. They will lose Coates (captain), Ugarte , etc...

solid signing. He is around level of Mbemba which would give them 2 good Cbs + Pepe. Once Leite returns from loan from Braga (nobody knows why SC did that) they will have way better defensive options than they did this year which cost them at times in CL. It is not right or sustainable for them to be so reliant on Pepe at this age. Similar idea applies to TM's reliance on Amiri. Not to say you discard players like that bc of their age, in fact they are the teams best, but they need to be protected and chosen for critical games. That way they stay fit and able to keep up high level performances, and you start integrating younger options that can take over when said player eventually is phased out.Originally posted by mehdi13 View Post“After signing Kostas Manolas, Olympiakos are set to sell Ruben Semedo to Porto, per O Jogo.

Porto are badly in need of reinforcement in CB..! especially an aggressive Thuggish, physical type that would suite SC's no-nonsensee defensive approach ...! and for 5-7mil these days you can not get any decent quality CBs without them carrying along such or similar baggage!!?
FK it .... bring him on.... Welcome to Porto..!!

Exclusive: Taremi can win meters at FC Porto in Vizela's home game
Evanilson's recovery in time for Vizela is a complicated scenario and the Iranian could be, again, the reference in the area.
After having been used as a substitute against Braga and having entered the savings plan against Rio Ave, Taremi is preparing to return to FC Porto's eleventh, probably in a different position from the one he has been playing in recent times.
