I guess it depends. If they give him a string of games to close out the season (it is expected first choice GK samuel will transfer to bigger team) then it may have just been that he was really impressive in training and coach thought he could have a great game. If hes dropped after this it would be pretty damaging/bring in question motives to play him in the first place.
From what I have seen so far of the coach he is a fair guy. Did a good job and sanat naft and has been doing solid work with portimonense, gave jafar good chances very early on tooComment

Why give him randomly this start against Porto away? Defence is playing like garbage, I just don't get it....

As fans we also need to show some patience and understanding. We complain and complain that guys dont go to europe, then they go and if immediately they dont succeed liek taremi we cry and say our legionairre situation sucks. Making these big moves to more competitive environments naturally means success is harder to come by and requires major improvement on behalf of our players, which is why they are there.
In case of niazmand pressure is low. We have 2 other solid GKs, we dont need him to succeed right away, he is the youngest of the 3. He already proved he is best GK in iran and now he is at a good club for his development, he needs to be patient and strong mentally.Comment

And btw, these sort of things with manager putting in GK in big game they might not be ready for happen/them getting exposed happen in football.
Zach steffen plays like 3 games all year and they give him league cup semi final vs liverpool. Whole world watching, ofc the guy isnt ready and basically costs them the game, directly at fault for 2 goals. Now whole world is laughing at him, his confidence is fucked, and US will probably turn to some MLS keeper (who btw was hired for the bench job at arsenal, where we transfer bench GKs in and out every 2 years, so essentially another terrible situation for their GK to be in)Comment
