Very solid half of football by Saman at RWB.
He looks super fit as mentioned, very quick in his sprints, gets back in shape well, making many good runs down the right and helping peg tottenham inn their own half.
He has been typically sharp in possession, great first touches. He won a few corners that led to brentfords most dangerous opportunities.
Really think this versionn of him can be a huge asset to TM, whether he plays wide or in central midfield. His fitness is just in such a strong place right now and we all know the technical qualities he possesses.
Brentford look very solid, defensively sturdy, and have basically dominated an in form spurs side.Comment

WIth an eye towards the WC: Invaluable experience for a TM team member playing against Tottenham with Kane! Not unlikely that these two will meet again at the WC!Comment

Playing this role is also quite good for his defensive awareness, yes its totally different to what is required when he plays centrally for TM (as will likely happen), but the same 1v1 defensive skills, getting back behind the ball, springing counters etc will be invaluable for TM.
Also good to know he can play RWB role if we indeed shift to 3 CB formation for certain matches. This can save us a lot of headache given RB issues.Comment

Ghodos playing the usual Canos RB/RW position (is he injured?)
has been full of running and rock solid in defensive positioning and in position to attack when opportunity arises, however his teammates hardly look to get him involved in the build up as much as they probably shoulda ..!! nearly had a go on an outside shot at the ht whistle but it got blocked
hopefully he is kept on deep into 2nd half ... so far he hasnt given any reason for subbing out..!!Comment

he still is too stand offish in his defensive stance and not in your face and combative enough as a pure defender...!! dont really think he can be considered a safe enough of a RB option for TM at WC..!
but he is certainly a worthy RCM/LCM starting quality player for TM at world cup.... but he has to keep his form and fitness up and show same amount of energy and stamina as he has had today..!Comment
