This is for sure part of his condition to have few kids with U23, but aren't them too young? They have U14 and U16.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostThey're only negotiating. I don't think he has signed anything yet.
Either way it would be a very good appointment. However, I am not sure if he even wants to work with IFF.
Unless the plan is to basically take his KIA Academy teams to the 2024 Olympics.
Did any of his player played in IPL yet, knowing he founded his academy in 2016.

He has an U-19 team that would be ready in time. Mix in some other elite U-23 players and the team could be very good.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostThis is for sure part of his condition to have few kids with U23, but aren't them too young? They have U14 and U16.

The most important thing is that Kia's teams all have international experience already - something that our previous Olympic teams badly suffered from - in addition to poor management and planning.
Also Mahdavikia has alot of enemies in Iran right now. Some people absolutely hate his academy and try to smear it.
At least 3 clubs filed a complaint against his academy earlier this year.

He should accept and play politics right. Anything done good in IR is smeared, Kia should know this and fight back.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostHe has an U-19 team that would be ready in time. Mix in some other elite U-23 players and the team could be very good.

Yeah, it will be hard to have even 30% of his academy with U23.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostHe has an U-19 team that would be ready in time. Mix in some other elite U-23 players and the team could be very good.

Did any of his players made it to IPL?

If I am not mistaken, he took his U19 team and registered them in the third level league in Iran last year. He was hoping to get promoted to second level in their first year and maybe in a year or two, get promoted to IPL.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostYeah, it will be hard to have even 30% of his academy with U23.

In a real soccer atmospheres that matters AND NO 3,4,5TH DIVISION BUNDESLIGA DONT COUNT
unfortunately they will force hashemian on us, nekunam should be the ciach over him AND mahdavikia has steped
In that way of becoming hv of our national team .

Yea., sorta think so too ..!?Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostI preferred to have Kia as the GM of the U23 team than the head coach, but he is better than most of morons in our football.
does he even have any actual coaching experience or education..!?
But considering the usual IFF goozoo alternatives for the job, I’ll take him for the job under any capacity..!
