Hajsafi worries me, but hope he proves all critics wrong. Ghoddos is missing, but I am still a huge Jahanbakhsh fan so I am happy he's there and we can bring on Ghoddos later, who is a great option for coming on both if we need goals or if we need possession.

My main issue with his Lineup is Starting Kanaani over PAG and Haysafi being in the Lineup, replacing MiMo. The Rest is justifiable.

I was thinking the same thing. I think Skocic is banking on TM's stamina to out gas the Iraqi players. I hope it doesn't bite us at the end, since both teams have played a bunch of games in a very short period of time and at one point no matter how much work the technical team puts in, you can't overcome fatigue.

CBs make me more nervous than Hajsafi. Especially with Rasan in the lineup. He knows their weaknesses and how to rile them up.

Formation also isn't the greatest against a 5-4-1

Don’t get the lineup complaints we all knew saman wasn’t gonna start after he played a full 90 last game and knew Hajsafi would start and personally, I’d rather have Hajsafi at LB so he doesn’t take the place of Ezi who will be VERY important in this game. I would have gone with Torabi or Ghaedi on the wing as well and PAG instead of kanaani but we can’t win em all. This is our lineup and like I said vs Bahrain we all must show love and support for every single guy wearing a TM shirt walking onto that pitch!

If its a win no one will complain other than to say CQ deserves the credit....lol

If its a loss everyone will demand heads and state the obvious...they could have done better and if only we had CQ.

CQ used Hajsafi in LB position multiple times. I don't agree with it yet it is not a first. Also, he was moved into that position in the match vs Bahrain when Saman came in for Milad Mohammadi in the beginning of second half. I actually prefer him there and have Saied as DM. Skocic and his staff think his experience and leadership is something they need in this match. I look at it as a risky proposition. I don't see what Skocic sees. I am hoping that similar to not having a friendly, this risk will pay off rather than make TM pay. Hajsafi better have the match of his life. We need eleven players today.

Unfortunately Vahid Amiri is absent from the bench also and it tells us that he is not match ready and is still healing. We shall miss him in this match.
