Hard to take much from this game. But thought that ARJ/Gholi were still poor (too many turnovers, not decisive enough in key scenarios), Kaveh/Karim are not comparable to Sardar/Mehdi and the few people on this board who advocated benching sardar for kaveh at any point ever should be ashamed. Ghayedi has the speed,decision making, and finishing to really harm iraq. His combos with ghoddos are great and they seem on the same wavelength. Id strongly consider starting him,Azmoun,and Taremi as front 3.

Also good day for milad to get some confidence back which he did with goal, assist, and some nice crosses

Lol I was attacked by numerous members here for talking about seid not getting invited before.

Then he got better in Vejle and I got convinced that he should be in the team but i guess I have to reconsider it again with that level of performance in last few games by saeid.

ARJ was our MVP today, I don't know what game you guys were watching lol. Yes he had a few bad touches but he had a goal, two or three assists, won the ball back more than our center backs, and created countless chances for our strikers.

I don't see how ARJ's performance can be put into the same category as Gholi.

One controlled the game in the first half, giving an assist, drawing a penalty, scoring, making key passes to Mehdi, dispossessing the Cambodians, hustling defensively. The other spend most of the game turning the ball over trying to replicate moves from FIFA Street. ARJ had what, total of two or three turn over (after which he recovered the ball).

Ghaedi’s IQ and decision making has to be his most underrated asset as an attacking player. He is mature passed his years and exposure in terms of levels he has played at.....I honestly think Skocic has to consider him or Torabi who both have looked great both in league and for TM over Gholi who now has had 2 back to back poor games.

Don’t think saman was anywhere nearly as poor as some here were making out to be in the first half and in the second he was easily one of our best players his distribution was brilliant as usual.


PAG’s recovery on one or two counters was a breath of fresh air we literally haven’t seen that since he has been out of the lineup....Skocic plz don’t mess up and leave this guy on the bench, please!!!!

We won 10-0 against low quality opposition , nothing much can be taken from that game. Plus looked like very uncomfortable heat.

Where we can take the best info from is the Bahrain game. We played better with Ghoddos and Ezatolahi on the pitch in that game. We can also take from that game that Hajsafi should be nowhere near the side , Nourollahi is weak and the two centre backs shouldn’t be passing the ball around between them.
