And if Jordan ties Kuwait again today, like they did in their last match, they'll be out too.

I hope we see Ghaedi & Torabi in at the start of half and Rezaei in around 60th minute. Those speedy wingers would change the game, and show Gholizadeh and Ghoddos that they need to perform better

Good first half from Team Melli. Some people need to ease their expectations a bit. This is not the same Cambodia team we beat 14-0 in Azadi.. They are a MUCH, and I mean MUCH improved team. Their 8-0 loss to Bahrain in Bahrain should've really been an 8-4 loss considering Cambodia created a decent amount of chances. Then as we all know, Cambodia scored against Iraq and only "narrowly" lost a 4-1 game.

The flow of play and rhythm is already much better than against Hong Kong, and it's nice seeing ARJ and PAG back in the starting lineup. Now let's rest Taremi and some of our other starters and score some more goals!

Perhaps to get match practice and even great psychological confidence in the era of covid. Maybe too familiarize themselves to the hostile grounds since we were robbed of home field. Maybe to put fear in Iraq who only scored 4 on Cambodia? I can see many valid reasons...although slowly subbing players out has advantages too. In Skocic we trust!

Why is that?
They need to play for hamahang and practise.
