All the points are well argued and has good basis on it. I am waiting to see when and if AFC will respond to this letter. Is there any timeline to this decision?Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostThe expressions are a bit off, but its actually a well written letter with very good evidence backed counter points to the stupid points the AFC made.
Unfortunately it will be useless as decisions in AFC are first made according to the whim of the AFC president and then justification is provided.

Can we not push this back on them? I mean they have to come back with a response, no? You cant just make decision and not provide evidence.Originally posted by kian_khosh View Postthe evidence they used is very good, and its very persuasive, but we all know that afc doesnt care at all

I gave up on our Team Melli's advancement in various tournaments, not because of the players but because of IR and the lack of management many years ago, and haven't followed the latest scandal with AFC. But if you guys think there was a true injustice, and the blame is more with AFC than IFF, then it may be time to put pressure on them via social media and encourage Iranians to promote such posts/ hashtags

I think we have to judge things solely - IFF is under managed and lack of professionals. But AFC has also done enough damage as well. We pick our battle with AFC as we would hope they can come back with some feedbacks to our request. I am little confused, how can Japan and Saudi's play in March 30th as qualification?Originally posted by Under Lahaf View PostI gave up on our Team Melli's advancement in various tournaments, not because of the players but because of IR and the lack of management many years ago, and haven't followed the latest scandal with AFC. that is also true.....i wish they would have added that.Originally posted by diz View PostDamn good letter. The only other argument I would have added is the average Bahraini temps in June and it’s close proximity to Qatar (which was ruled unsafe for players for WC summer matches due to heat).

If you're going to email it FIFA, it's worth also adding the temperature factor into it as that decision for the Qatar world cup was made by FIFA.Originally posted by diz View PostWe should download this letter and post to all AFC social media accounts. Also we should email it to FIFA. The fans’ perspective/reaction should matter here.

Thanks. I’ll do the same and add the temperature issue as well.Originally posted by DJPedram View Post

Well written by IRIFF, only thing that's bugging me is they haven't set a deadline for a response from the AFC. Setting a deadline for the AFC to respond would have put the AFC under more pressure and would have shown greater intent from Iran that they will pursue it with other steps if AFC don't take it seriously

I dont think Iran can request a deadline for AFC to reply back....you can only put deadline on something when you can control it...in this case Iran has no game to play, just has to push back in hope to have a conversation opening.Originally posted by mattigil View PostWell written by IRIFF, only thing that's bugging me is they haven't set a deadline for a response from the AFC.
