he is super calm on the ball in comparison to his teammates, even more impressive when you consider these are his first games in portugal.

From being a rotation player in SNA to playing vs the soon to be league champs of Portugal and not looking out of place at all in the space of 12 months. Not bad

He consistently gets perfect combination of curve and speed on all his deliveries, into dangerous areas that GK cannot come claim.

That’s highly encouraging ..! We’ve nearly always for most part suck at that aspect of the game in TM..! Even Javad was hit n miss on that front .. mostly miss ..! Zandi same ..! The rest once in a blue moon hit an internationally technical delivery of their set pieces ..!

he takes them whenever he is on the field. He had an assist in his first start from a great corner and could have had two others. Commentators kept mentioning his dangerous delivieries. He had another excellent cross last week that Cf should have converted. Again today some good balls. I would say ghoddos from free kicks is our best bet, but he has different delivery style going for super accurate balls that sometimes dont pan out. On the other hand salmani's combo + curve/height/speed into a dangerous area is almost guaranteed to cause danger. He uses the same technique when crossing from open play.

Salmani should be called by Skocic in addition to Gholi, Ghoddoos and Ezattollahi and instead of Ehsan Hajisafi. Ehsan should save face and hang his boots. Its time. Salmani could be a great sub for TM.
