We have the most goals forced, least goals against, and are tied with most points amongst both groups. To think we almost didn't make it to this stage is fucking crazy!! Just one more win and we are through, but we must finish first in our group regardless. Well done to our players and coaching staff for coming back from the shithole Wilmots left us in!!!

Bro hell noooo, Egypt with CQ at the helm? He knows our team inside out, he practically raised this whole generation of our players lolOriginally posted by Hosseini View PostThat's right, thanks - maybe like:

I agree. It also hits a bigger dilemma, most of us are afraid to see TM losing. But ironically we need friendlies against good teams and lose, to see what we need to work on. Turkey friendly was the perfect example. We won’t improve from friendlies with Uzbekistan, Syria or Sierra Leone.Originally posted by Iran Doost View PostSo what is it that we hope for? Shitty games against shitty teams, or challenging games against good teams, fun to watch and get excited about, and not be scared of losing? We have a good shot of beating them again but so freaking what if USA beats us? We will beat them the next time
If you are scared of losing, let's quit the world cup and go play against Guam. Anyone remember that game? Did you enjoy it? Complete waste of time.

Give us van Gaal his "Oranje" , then give us Canada and an African team
l would be the most happy person on earth when we play the Dutchies in Qatar & beat them with a sweet long distance shot of Ghoddos & a Taremi or Azmoun goal ; Iran - Netherlands 2-0
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

We could beat them still. And it would be a good game for exactly that reason! I would way rather play Egypt than a team like Senegal. We do well against Arab teamsOriginally posted by Kian B. Alex Nouri on TM's WCQ campaign
- Iran has had a solid performance.
- Iran conceded two goals, one of them was a gift to Lebanon
- Wishes that Iran's fullbacks would engage more in attacking play.
- Iran's wingers, in particular JB and Gholizadeh are technically very gifted. Emphasized that Ghaedi and Sayyadmanesh are very interesting players who need more playing time.
- Iran has enough offensive quality to break any team's defense, if they are courageous enough. However, curious how Iran's defense can stand against better teams.

Your podcast is great man! Thanks very much for doing this and giving us a chance to see some great analysis on team mellli. Lots of fun to listen in as well. I also love your intro with the nostalgic team mellli moments.Originally posted by Gol Bezan View Post
Btw, are you the main host, Arya? Sorry if I misspelled it!
