I am sorry to agree. Unfortunately, ARJ has regressed with a combination of unfortunate injuries, bad professional career decisions (choosing Brighton and staying there for money) and lack of adequate support by coaches at Brighton. I rather see both of them thriving and in a healthy competition to be TM starters rather than only one.

Saman is and always has been simply a higher caliber footballer than ARJ.... but as stated below by Medzdidz Alireza still coulda faired much better than he has so far in BHA had he been rated by their new coach Pothead and afforded more trust in his abilities and much more minutes on the pitch than he's been afforded so far under Pothead..!
regardless i still believe Ali to be a much more complete and improved overall footballer than when he first joined BHA ..!

i said earlier, Pothead's squad management away from the pitch are disingenuous to say the least and his overall man management abilities are simply subpar to say the least, leave far more to be desired ...! he Most often uses the "Fear of loosing your spot to another player" as the only means of getting the most out of his squad players..!
in other words, he is the conniving cunt i always marked him out to be ...! probably a reflection of their owner..?

Against Cambodia and Hong Kong you can definitely play that way , no need to sacrifice an attacking player.
