I agree , he has won the ball back a few times and made a nice run too and played some good balls especially since the goal. I would like to see him playing the position that Emiliano is in which is further afield.

He nearly did it again on the stroke of half time , wins the ball back in the middle which sets up a counter attack that Toney hits the post from.

he's been open often but overlooked in and around the box
otherwise looks sharp out there ... just still a bit too withdrawn from opponents box and bit kond... not really running as fast as the maddening pace of the play

hes playing in a midfield 2 basically with janelt. Some 3412 variation, so yes he is playing quite deep. Doing good positionally and in possession.

Hope they avoid Swansea for the first playoff. My preference is Barnsley and then Bournemouth.

His Strength and positioning have improved, but I still think he hasn't caught up to the pace of the English game.
Hopefully that can be worked on this off season.
