Diaz is a phenomenal talent. He showed it in Porto in flashes this year. Next step for him is to become one of the first names on the team sheet for a top 15 club in europe which porto is. He can do this by being more switched on when team doesn’t have ball and improving his decision making / releasing ball earlier. Once he does that he will transfer to one of the top 10-12 clubs in Europe probably. Again brighton are nowhere in this equation and ofc he would not trade in Porto for brighton

Would be a terrible move for both teams.
Neither player fits the league they would be transferred to. Alireza is not quick and can't dribble past a traffic cone. Luiz Diaz lacks almost every single skill required in the EPL (football IQ, vision, off the ball movement, pressing, physical strength,etc...).

Also according to Brighton twitter, looks like Andy Naylor (Brighton insider), has already denied this move).
