they went from dominating wolfsburg, roma, etc in Europa League, looking likely to close gap on brugge and win title, to seriously horrible in most departments. They were seriously one of the most entertaining, modern teams outside top 4 leagues last season.

Hard to comprehend. Somehow milads play is still stable and if anything offensive output is improving.
