Some interesting tidbits from the situation with Ozil at Arsenal. Draw your own conclusions if this parallels another familiar situation.

I had a couple of questions about the game and Arsenal: 1) Why is Ozil not starting? I remember that great goal created by Ozil to Auba against us @ Emirates last time during Arteta era. You guys lack any creativity without him, too good of a player to be left out games. 2) Why is Saliba not getting any minutes, instead Mustafi...? He like Wesley Fofana are good defenders from Saint Ettiene. 3) Is the fan hate on Xhaka justified, should he have more/less of a role?

1) Ozil is not in any squad bc of political reasons, not footballing. He spoke out against CCP genocide of uighurs that is occuring as we speak, and that hurt arsenals bottom line in a huge chinese market. Additionally he refued paycut, rightfully so, bc he wanted assurances the money wouldnt just go back to kroenke and would actually be used to prevent people getting fired. The club wanted blanket 12.5% wage cuts from players and then ended up firing 50+ staff anyways. I dont know how kroenke who just got all sorts of credit lines and interest free loans from Orange retard needs MORE money, but that is what happened. It cannot be footballing bc as we see the replacements for ozil, in the xi and on the bench, are not good enough to warrant him not even being in squad. We make it more difficult for ourselves to win games by not even having him as an option.

2)Saliba Im not sure. He had a lot of injuries last year and his mother recently died. He is just 19 so adaptation will take some time but I agree he should be playing right now. He will be a starter by the end of the season I think, at least by the start of next season.

3) I think most of fan base backs him now, which is a shame bc he is a careless player without required concentration levels on defense to take arsenal to a higher level. Leicester goal was his fault, just stopped tracking his runner for 10000th time. Ideally we would replace him with a high calibre defensive specialist #6/#8 hybrid.

In general I dont really feel close to this arsenal and this was the first game I saw in full in the last couple months

You come into a thread where you could have just looked back a few pages and seen what was going on but couldn’t be bothered to do so.

Reminds me of people in school who would ask a question right after it was just answered because they weren’t paying attention.

Now I agree with you that there’s no reason for anyone to be mean but it seems that People are just pointing out your lack of effort and I wouldn’t really characterize that as aggression.

But yes to summarize:

Zenit is severely underperforming considering the strength of their squad, and it seems like he is tactically clueless which lead to their really really embarrassing loss at home against Brugge.
