We are in the worst phase of the pandemic and with new Virus variants there are studies that suggest even vaccinated people could be 50% infectious. There is so much that we don't know with more deadly variants emerging all over the world and those are only the ones that have been sequenced. We need to keep wearing masks and socially distance for a while. To tell you the truth, I am glad Sardar is not here even though I am worried about his ankle injury. I hope Zenit is not as secretive as they were with his illness last fall that kept him away for more than a month.

^ mattigil jaan, this is exactly the kind of approach that is dangerous. Testing and contact tracing and now vaccination are only safeguards. They are necessary but not complete protection. This virus is mutating and becoming more deadly. It's viscous. I respectfully disagree. There is a lot to worry about. Eventually, when over 70% of the population gets vaccinated plus new infections and deaths are under control we could declare that we are out of the woods. We still have a long way to go.

But I completely agree that everyone especially the public need to be vigilant and extra careful with masks and social distancing. I've not been anywhere myself other than essential shopping etc since March last year as I wouldn't want my parents getting anything from me or anything.
