mazaheri goes to SS. Kind of weird considering they already have hosseini.

SS also after reza asadi. Remains to be seen where he ends up but I think the austrian club (st Polten) mentioned has made a concrete offer for him and would be a good fit considering he is still just 24. Hopefully he chooses wisely and if he could get good mins probably guarantees him a TM callup.

Alipour to maritimo seems to be a matter of time. Mohebbi will most likely remain in sepahan for one more season. Navidkia will be new coach and I doubt he will make it hard for mohebbi to leave when a suitable offer arrives. Besides that its gone a bit quiet on jafar salmani the LWB of SNA to portimonense. It seemed close to completion but as we are seeing with moghanlou visa process for guys in iran and not on TM can take much longer than a taremi in qatar to rio ave situation.

If Reza Asadi, Alipour, Moghanlou, Salmani, Hajsafi become our PGPL transfers to europe this summer I would say thats a very good outcome. Hopefully salimi/niazmand can join them with a slightly more high profile move.

I have not seen much of his game if I'm honest, but based on highlights and your description of him playing LW/LB it sounds like he is the Iranian Alphonso Davies? Again, I have not seen much of his game, so I can only go off limited highlights/media interviews and ratings. What position(s) did Paulo Sérgio use him as during his tenure at SNA? Paulo Sérgio mentions Salmani in an interview back in 2018: https://www.mehrnews.com/news/440317...گی-دارد

Regarding his transfer offer from Portimonense, this source claims the offer is "serious" and that his contract has ended with SNA: http://shahrvand-newspaper.ir/news:n...-آبادان

        no

Lets not make stupid comparisons. He is quite technical left sided player as you can see from the clips but is not physical or extremely fast - the characteristics of the player you mentioned. I like that he is good on the ball and in tight spaces which is something to work with, and obviously as a former winger his skillset is different to a typical defensive player like milad. If he develops defensive side to his game considering we have no other LBs besides milad he could be a good option esp considering his age.

Im not sure what positions he played for Sergio before but judging from portimonense squad the post of LB is quite open with only one younger academy player there who is not particularly spectacular at all.

I seem to have a certain bit of a strange disdain for alikoor that still sorta preventing me from getting all too excited/pleased with his proposed move to Portugal..!??
I only seen him in action maybe 1-2 times for short intervals & can’t help it feeling he is way overrated by mostly the fickle domestic PP fans..!? & He has this onogh sorta personality too which further annoys me & makes me Less enthused about his slight possibility of a breakout in EU football ..!?

Gooz luck to him I guess ..!? Don’t think he’ll be revelation in NOS but he may do enough to probably justify his cost acquirement..!

            Alipour awaits visa
Iranian striker to be reinforcement of Marítimo

Iranian striker Ali Alipour, who has an agreement with Marítimo valid for two seasons, has already said goodbye to Persepolis fans on social networks and is only waiting for his visa to travel to Madeira. Closer to reach is Brazilian right-back Cláudio Winck, from Vasco da Gama.

However, in Lousada, Lito Vidigal yesterday gave the squad a break. The next test is Wednesday, in Alcochete (17 hours), against Sporting. Rodrigo Pinho is recovering from injury.

All the best to Alipour, he is not the most talented Iranian player, but with hard work and discipline and a little bit of luck he can have a decent football career in Europe. Clubs such ad Sporting Braga, FC Utrecht, FC Royal Antwerp etc should be achieveable for him.

                  Iranian transfers | Summer 2020

I hope he succeeds where ever he plays. But I have never been exited about his style of running very very hard for 90 minutes and not much else. That is just me.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

alipour is not a complete forward. However, in the right system he can be very successful and is a potentially useful player as a TM reserve (similar to what mehrmo could have been, but I think alipour is better in most aspects. His profile as a straight sprinter is good for counter attacking team and stretching defenses, although his hold up play leaves a lot to be desired. He is a good instinctual finisher and has a strong shot from outside and inside box.

I think he will work well in maritimo who are a very counter attacking side.

Anyways, the main purpose of guys like Alipour imo, who are not better than Sardar, Taremi, Kaveh at CF position is to prove and continue this new image of our players abroad. Cheap, professional, and can quickly make an impact of midtable teams in Belgium, Portugal, etc. When our average players with no TM caps like alipour, mehrdad mohammadi, moghanlou succeed then this shows PGPL exports can adapt quickly and get their new clubs a nice profit in short space of time. If these guys contribute to TM down the road in backup roles thats a bonus. IF they are able to grow our reputation then our actually talented players like Ghaedi, Mohebbi, Niazmand, Salimi who have been regulars in TM youth teams and breaking into TM at young age will have more suitors bc there will be less concerns about their adaptation, avg players from our league were successful so they should be even more so.

I agree but I would prefer the same euro clubs to invest on our best players than average players like naderi and nurafkan

Alright after reading some of these responses, I think Alipour is a bit underrated lol

Not a Persepolis fan at all, but he's been one of their most consistent and best players for 3-4 years now. He also has the best weak foot ability out of ALL our players (name me a player with a better weak foot on team melli, I dare you). He would make a great team melli backup, especially if he succeeds in Portugal. He's also quite versatile.

That being said, I agree that he doesn't make for the best overall striker because his holdup play is a bit weak, but nonetheless he definitely has the potential to be a great option off the bench for Team Melli with his pace, dribbling, and finishing. I think he's as good as Kaveh Rezaei talentwise overall tbh, but Kaveh is higher on my depth chart due to his hard work and play for Charleroi.

kaveh is a much more all around and complete forward. His assist record indicates that, the variety of goals he scores indicates that.

But as I mentioned its not bad having a player who is more of a specialist. Alipour is a similar mould to a werner type player, obviously an extremely crappy budget version that I kind of laugh when putting with werner in the same sentence. But still, he is not a traditional CF. But is rapid, direct, and as you mentioned strong with both feet. Like werner he makes good runs into space behind defense from slightly wider areas and seriously stretches the backline of the opposition. Those are his key characteristics. Stick a strong, fast CB / smart defense line that plays offside trap well and the lack of variability to his game means he will not offer much. But in a counterattacking system for team of maritimo profile where his job is very clear and there is space behind opposition backline he can be dangerous.

I like the Werner comparison. I too think Kaveh is a more well-rounded player than Alipour, but there are some aspects of Alipour's game (important aspects as well) that are above Kaveh's game. Alipour is much faster, quicker, better dribbler, more versatile, has a stronger weak foot, more agile, and has a better long shot. He can also play on the wing. I also think his aerial ability isn't far behind Kaveh's...

Kaveh however, is a much more high IQ up top striker, much stronger, more physical, a better decision maker, good header, great finisher in the box.

like i said i havent seen him nearly enough in action to be a good judge of his pure football abilities and his true potential to make a mark @NOS..!!! Something about the kid's persona just irks me and ftb, id almost rather see him fail to complete this transfer and/or last second snub them for china, so that i can personally feel more vindicated of my current feelings towards him ..!! lol

lets just say he still has a long way to go before i can feel positive about his possible future inclusion in TM..!!
