Nice decision to leave belgium for portugal at the beginning of the preseason. Better league, less toxic.
Wish JB would have the same balls

whoever buys him they need to be aware he needs some proper coaching and he will be one of the best. But he simply needs proper coaching. But he seems to me (I emphasises seems) like those bache tokhs who does not listen to advice and does not respond well to the rules of goal keeping and needs to be clipped behind the ears every time. He seems to be the type of person who likes to find out/work out things for himself. I don't think he even bothers to find out what is said/ discussed about him out in the community. I hope I am wrong in all I am thinking. I would jump on the Boavista offer.

Competition is always there, i didn't like his approach of saying i am no1 of my national team i need to be no1 in club, yeah at first maybe it is the case but later on your performance will decide who will be in net. and tbh, any coach at some point would have benched him because he simply wasn't good. Can he play better? Yes, of course, but then it is up to him.
He has been a year outside Iran and shouldn't have the language excuse anymore. Look at Abedzadeh, the fact that he speaks English(and he is local like his dad), played a main role to his decent success in Portugal. Now after a year being outside if you still can't communicate the basics with your defenders, it is entirely on you, not x or y factors.

Seems like he is leaving and Boavista is his next destination,

علیرضا بیرانوند در آستانه فسخ قرارداد با آنتورپ بلژیک قرار گرفته و احتمالا فوتبالش را در پرتغال ادامه خواهد داد.

I think he needs a good mentor to help him iron out his rough edges.

Boavista finished above maritimo (abedzadeh) and portimonense (future niazmand club)

Most probably because the are most unsure about him and his capabilities and want to evaluate him.

Apparently the team in Portugal is Boavista according to media.

But he decides to come out and defenders then leave it to him. Very bad decision.
I agree to some part of your statement but the main problem is the communication between the goalie and his defenders and also the confidence between them which is not existing in Antwerp since they change the GK every other week.

Sorry, no "noteworthy" club in Europe will touch him after his inconsistent performances. GoalKeepers more than any other position need to be consistent, which is something he's not.
The Karius comparison doesn't work since he spent most of his career in a high exposure league, whereas Berio only went to Europe last year.
We went through this last season. I was laughed at for suggesting he's done in Antwerp after his match against Rangers... and now half a year later, the guy is the 3rd option behind two no name GKs. Time to accept that whatever the reason, Beiro is not in an ideal spot, and needs to take a few steps back before trying to move forward again.
well none of our GKs play for "Noteworthy" clubs so I don't get whats the issue there. Hell, Japan's #1 plays for Sint Truidense, a team far more shit than antwerp.

If he was really desperate hed probably jump at that boavista offer, the fact he doesnt makes me think he must know some other clubs are interested.

I dont think there is any denying he hasnt been great, but to say its all over for him is also jumping the gun.

He had some great saves in this game today, neither of the goals were his fault at all. Good shift from beiro hopefully he builds off of this going forward to give him some much needed momentum
