I see a much more confident attacking team. CQ did well to Instill Much needed discipline and tactics. But Wilmots and Vahid have taken the team to the next level. I love what i see !

we drew away with 10 men during cq times. We looked a lot more solid defensively as well that day basically giving up zero chances. Whereas we created more in Wilmots second game, we also conceded a ton of really dangerous chances.Originally posted by eerooni View Post
Attacking football is great, but wilmots needs to be very careful to find a balance. Cq was so defensive for many years because he knew our defenders werent good enough to handle higher level opposition in one on one or counterattack situations and needed extra layers of protection. Whenever we opened up (vs Japan, Turkey) we were quickly exposed.Comment

I think 4-1 sounds fair. Taremi Azmoun duo with attacking tactics is pretty great and Bahrain is very mistake prone at the back with high enough pressure. But at the same time Bahrain is more clinical and dangerous than Hong Kong, and we saw vs Hong Kong it wasn’t the smoothest walk in the park. But Ghasem Jaffar Taremi wasn’t playing at the time and Torabi was in his place which is a huge difference. Let’s see what happens TuesdayComment
