whatever game plan Rio Ave has is not working....coach needs to make some changes half time...they cant even create

I wouldnt say luck as much as speed of ball movement. Rio are a really well coached team, they play out of the back consistently, get the ball wide and do short combo plays to move up the field. Their full backs go really wide and high and wingers pinch in. we see they can use this to great effect, see that great goal taremi scored vs Porto. But on the flip side bc their players arent amazing they struggle sometimes to turn and make incisive passes, dribbles, and so they get stuck in their own half.Originally posted by diz View PostRed card for PFE. Once they picked up speed of passing pacos were really struggling at the end of the half, and a few incisive forward through balls started getting them into dangerous areas. Thats when they become a real problem bc of how good their spacing is.
I think as long as they sure up on set piece defending which looked terrible so far, they should be able to claw this game back for tie or win.
