hope delfis injury was precautionary. Often in preseason players are not taken chances with. Good to see noorafkan getting consistent minutes off the bench. Another reason why Marc Wilmots is one lucky bastard.
Three Iranians training and playing together in the Belgian too flight..
Two of them (Noorafkan and Gholizadeh) from the talented U-17 generation that gave us Sadegh Moharrami and Saeid Ezatolahi (two consistent invitees of Team Melli)..
Then you have Younes Delfi who was a part of that U-17 team who beat Germany and Mexico..
All three of these players together for a year before the final round of the 2022 WCQ’ers.
Lol I gotta say Carlos Queiroz did a HUGE favor for Marc Wilmots, and I’m not even joking when I say this.
Carlos was in the kitchen cooking Wilmots a nice delicious meal, he even spoon fed him right before he left
