I couldn't find the rules and regulations on the-afc.com or on fifa.com. I was thinking that if Qatar wins the group, the second and third teams will be bumped up and in the likely scenario that Oman and Afghanistan end up in 2nd and third place, Oman will qualify as the first team and Afghanistan will be in the pool for the four group runner-ups with the best records. We shall find out when they post the rules and regulations for the Asian qualifiers.

Wikipedia is not a reliable source since anyone can edit the page. What makes sense is for Qatar to exit after this (second) round if it wins group E (the most probable scenario) and the second and third teams in the group to be bumped up to first and second places respectively. If Qatar ends up in second place in group E and qualifies for the next round as one of the four group runner-ups then it should again exit and the third team in the group should be bumped to second. If Qatar doesn't qualify for the next round, the qualification rules and regulations will apply to the first and possibly second teams in the group. In the scenarios where teams are bumped up, the same qualification rules should apply to them. It doesn't make any sense for Qatar to participate in the third round since third and fourth rounds are designated for WC 2022 qualification only and Qatar is already qualified as the host. Why should Qatar take the place of another team who could have a chance (no matter how big or small). This is purely my opinion.Originally posted by Azeem98 View PostWikipedia says if Qatar tops their group than it will be up to Fifa will they allow Qatar to play in the second round and if Qatar is willing to play

South Korea has been always very lucky and their record of qualifying for every world cup going back to '86 is really not indicative of how strong they are.Originally posted by Azeem98 View PostDoes anyone also think that Group H is the surprise package ? Turkmenistan looked good in the Asian Cup, North vs South Korea might give some surprising result because of off the field stuff and Lebanon thrashed N Korea a few years ago.

against whom a practice match? Zaria Somalia or Guatemala. We need real teams like Spain or Germany Holland France, BelgiumOriginally posted by Paradigm View PostNeed to arrange good friendly matches for specific FIFA calendar days. If Iran gets along with more countries, teams could travel to Tehran for the game, or ask their federation to help line up visas.
Believe me most friendly's will be canceled at the last moment

Let’s play a friendly vs Croatia. Since our TM Omid will play 2 matches with their Omid team, why not?
Dear President Taj,
Please arrange a friendly match with Croatia! It’s not in the realms of impossibility! They are the 2nd place team from the last World Cup and their coaches/trainers have a very good relationship with Iranian football.

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi -
