Trabzonspor has drawn Sparta Prague in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa League.

Sparta in normal circumstances would be a tricky draw. But they are weak in recent years, and will play their home game behind closed doors. On paper trab should definitely advance.
BTW, Majid is fully recovered from his shoulder injury and back in full training with squad, right before the major friendlies as well.

No, he was not. That Argentinian defender that you hated (Campi) played in place of Majid. Trabzonspor drew 3-3 against Hoffenhiem, with goals coming from Yazici and Sari. It’s seems Turkish clubs played well against the German clubs in their friendlies today.

So proud of him for staying.
I’m so proud to have had Carlos Queiroz as our head coach because he played a HUGE role in showing Iranian players that the Iranian League should NOT be their ultimate goal. He pushed our boys to leave Iran, to sit on the bench in a lower table European club BUT learn something they may not in Iran.
I’d say with confidence that if Carlos Queiroz didn’t become our head coach, many of these players would be staying in Iran. Not counting the top two: Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh. Because Sardar’s dad didn’t want him to play in League Bartar (football e kaseef) waaay before he was in the senior TM. And Jahanbakhsh looked up to Mahdavikia who looked after him and guided him at Damash to leave.
But the rest of the players pushed themselves to leave because of the influence of Carlos.
We love you Carlos The Great!
