A while back (like a month ago) it may have only been speculation because it was only risky Turkish sources mentioning the rumor and no mentions at all from Ukrainian sports news outlets.

Great move and club for Sayyadmanesh! I believe in this kid, he has the potential to have a good career in Europe. Hope to see him play in Germany or Italy some day.

Honestly Sardar can stay this season at Zenit. With Lovren joining and Malcom getting in the groove of things, it will be nice to see their CL 2021 attempt.

Zorya Luhansk are in need of a striker. Their current strikers aren't good enough. They play very high intensity, German style football, with pressing from the front. Allahyar is a hard working player who will guarantee you effort all the time. He would fit perfectly in their system.

Plus the fact they're in the Europa League group stage, and will compete for the top spots in the Ukrainian league, it's a perfect move for him. Really impressed with the smart moves young Younes Delfi and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh have made this transfer window, massive props to them.

It will be a 1.5 mil EU loan fee with a 3.5 Mil obligation to buy (not option).

So thats basically a 5 mil EU fee broken into 2 payments. Considering their biggest signing before was 1 mil EU I would say either they really believe in him or some of this money is being put up by another ukrainian club with an interest in allahyar's development but no space for him on their first team (cough Shakhtar or Dynamo Kyiv) kind of similar to what bayern did with gnabry (helping werder pay initial fee to arsenal to bring him to germany).

Hoping the best for him. He needs to somewhere to just play and 3rd place in Ukraine is not a bad place + Europa League.
