I dont think anyone would be sold on him after 40mins of his first game. However, I will say that he isnt doing a bad job. He seems to be communicating to the team well and is staying very proactive.

No, not really... Have you seen South Korea’s squad? They are testing players and formations, like us. Real test will begin in September.

So far so good. Several good combinations by TM. The hypocrisy on the forum as usual: If we don't have results against slightly above average Asian teams like Syria, people on the forum say, oh we can't even score against sh***y Asian teams and then we dominate and score against such teams, we hear: so what that we score against sh***ty Asian teams. Come on guys, be fare. It's a descent friendly considering that we will face such teams many time during the WC qualifications. I have a sense that Wilmots is gradually introducing attacking football while keeping the team defensive cohesion and unanimity of spirit in place.

pretty even and competitive match until syrians gave up the opener..! still they had decent enough chances to be level terms at HT which is about the only point of concern for us..!!
excellent bit of teamwork on our 2 goals especially the 2nd ..!!
we look to be 433/451 with midfielders switching up places throughout the match to expose weaknesses and confuse their markers..!

hopefully we get another goal early 2nd half, so that MW can get experimental with subs..!
