Football Insider has claimed that Championship side Bristol City, newly relegated Fulham and Scottish Premiership club Celtic are interested in signing Akhmat Gronzny left-back Milad Mohammadi.

Iranian international defender Milad Mohammadi’s contract with Russian Premier League side Akhmat Grozny expires at the end of the 2018/19 season, and Bristol City, Fulham and Celtic are all eyeing him up on a free transfer.

A host of clubs have reportedly been alerted to the 25-year-old’s contract situation with the Russian club. Bristol City and Fulham are reportedly the latest sides to register interest in Mohammadi, while Celtic have been keeping tabs on the Iranian for the past two transfer windows.

The Robins are considering left-back options ahead of the upcoming window, with bids expected to come in for highly-sought after youngster Lloyd Kelly, who has been catching the attention of Premier League title contenders Liverpool over the course of the current season.

Mohammadi started his career in his birth county of Iran, making his senior debut for Iran Pro League side Rah Ahan. The left-back went on to play 47 times for the club, before making the move to current club Akhmat Grozny in 2016.

Since moving to the Russian Premier League side, Mohammadi has played 78 games for the club, providing six assists and scoring three goals along the way as well. In his time with the club, he has mainly been utilised at left-back but has also featured at on the left side of midfield over the course of the current season.

Mohammadi also boasts 25 international caps for Iran, who he represented at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
