If you think about it any Southern European/Mediterranean team is great for our players examples Rahman Rezaei, Ansarifard, Haji Safi did well, Nekounam, Masoud, Majid Hosseini,sadegh isn’t doing too bad, Amoo Vafaseyas Sibil, now mehrdad and Taremi will do the same.

This team aren’t playing Mohammadi in his true position and playing him as a striker out of desperation/lack of quality in attack.

They need to start their good players like Enzo Zidane and Kharaba. Those are their players that know how to play football.

Who knows. It could be because they lack a quality CF or it could be that the coach may see some sort of quality in him as a CF. The coaches could be re-training him in this position.

It's not unheard of for coaches to do this, especially from winger to striker:
