He's supposed to begin his tenure on Tuesday, but I have a nagging feeling (and I sincerely hope I'm wrong) that he won't stay long. Let's hope he manages to help Iran qualify for Qatar.

Yes, two Portuguese fans.Originally posted by Sarbaze-Vatan View PostIn the following link, one of the Portuguese fans said the same thing before WC 2018. He said "Queiroz face screams mediocrity, I'm so glad we canned him quickly".
You are spot on. Every team has overcome a tough qualification. Thus, they are rightfully at The World Cup. This gives room for dreaming. I am lucky to...
Portuguese fans believe that he cannot be successful as a head coach for any team in the world. They see him as a terrible coach.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Oh god no.Originally posted by Sarbaze-Vatan View Post1. CQ was extremely fortunate that we were not in group B of the final round WCQs 2018. If we were, Japan and Saudi Arabia would have qualified and we would have been in the play off against Syria instead of Australia. In the final round of WCQs 2018, we were in much weaker group. If Ali Daei who IMO was the worst national team head coach along with Afshin Ghotbi was fortunate like CQ to get Uzbekistan instead of Saudi Arabia, he would not have been fired. In fact he would have qualified us most likely.
.
We were the best team in Asia during WCQ.
Saudi Arabia took a direct spot because they got 3 penalties in 3 games which won them 6 extra points. All 3 of the penalties were after the 80th minute. Thats some Arab BS if I ever saw it.
Australia, the AFC Champions at the time , were one post hit away from being eliminated by Syria (homeless poor team). Iraq/Thailand were much weaker than Uzbekistan/China. Our group was much much harder without a doubt.
Thailand and Iraq were punching bags in the other group.
As you saw directly in the Asian Cup... Qatar is much better than Saudi as well and we beat them twice .
My favorite part of CQs tenure was our absolute ruthless record against Arabs in competitive matches. Besides a couple fluke ties and one loss early in his tenure. Its been smooth sailing against ArabsLast edited by perspolis#1; 05-28-2019, 07:57 AM.

The first link says that Wilmots is doing a detailed analysis of the list of players who made it to the WC 2018 and AC 2019. My guess is that he is going to use his common sense for now and use those two lists as the baseline for the next two friendlies before he invites new players. We shall see.Originally posted by sedee91 View PostWho created the list? Was it from him or IFF?
