Fifa has no business in meddling with the regulations and policies of a country, that's ridiculous. If other countries and their institutions would butt out of the internal affairs (laws, cultural institutions, politics, policies) of other nations we would've had alot less problems on the International domain today. Sovereignty should be respected.Originally posted by St_Mark View PostThere are some presure from FIFA regarding allowing Women fan for today game ( National teams).
Iff last nigh said no to womn attending the game but it seems to avoid furtur complication decided allowing no fan at all.
FiFA made a request yesterday.
But Why no broadcast?

Preventing half of population from attending public sport facilities is a form of discrimination. IFF is member of FIFA and must follow their reasonable regulations specially not to discriminate.
What is ridiculous is to justify discrimination against women .
I will argue majority of Iranians are against discrimination against women.
IFF in their response to FIFA did not object to their request but asked time to prepare stadiums. IFF officials are simply ignorant and incompetent otherwise this issue should have been resolved years ago in favor of women have choice to attend stadiums. They are cowards afraid of challenging backward elements of the system.

It's soccer related so it's their business. One can go against FIFA rules and regulations in which case they won't be part of FIFA anymore. It comes down to which option do you prefer.Originally posted by sirvan View PostFifa has no business in meddling with the regulations and policies of a country, that's ridiculous. FIFA has every right to oppose all discrimination including race and gender. IFF should act promptly if it wants to stay a member of FIFA and accommodate women's attendance in the stadiums. It is incredible that women should go to Ararat stadium to watch their own games. We should thank the Armenian community for being a bastion of gender equality (granted its partial since women still have to wear hejab).

Where in the world do you see the level of discrimination against women other than Iran?? this has to stop, IFF is part of FIFA and they should comply with their rules. if not, let them get punished. why should we men have all the fun while the women in my country are banned from simple and basic freedom?Originally posted by sirvan View PostFifa has no business in meddling with the regulations and policies of a country, that's ridiculous. we should stop thinking were being picked out and everyones meddling in our internal affairs, but if the regime did good no one would interfere with this much at least.

Yes IFF is a member of FIFA but there is also such a thing as having local customs and regulations. And Iran's argument is that they do not want women to be exposed to the obscene cursing and wild manners of men in their stadiums. Loud and clear, it has nothing to do with discrimination but with contemporary Iranian culture, customs and societal rules.Originally posted by St_Mark View PostPreventing half of population from attending public sport facilities is a form of discrimination. It's just a test, don't read anything beyond that. This squad is not selected by wilmots and Hashemian, and they don't know every player.Originally posted by greenguy4life View PostHow Moradmand starts over Salimi is beyond me [emoji23]
Wilmots will select his picks after watching PGL games.

as if many Iranian girls never heard those words or don't use them.. i'm sometimes shocked at the way Iranian girls inside Iran curse like its drinking water.. if they wanted to keep iranian culture, customs, and societal rules.. they could as well just stop all the propaganda against norooz and other ancient cultures we have. but apart from this, they could give sections to women only or whatever.. these are just excuses.. they are afraid of our woman.Originally posted by sirvan View PostYes IFF is a member of FIFA but there is also such a thing as having local customs and regulations.
