Ebrahimi? Ghafouri? Playing vs Iraq was a tough time and Shojaei made it worse and lost us the game

From what I hear, young players really respect Shojaee. But does he need to be a player on the team to help? I think, the coach should keep him for the rest of the WCQ campaign as an assistant. He will bring continuity and experience to the team.

Agree on Ezatolahi. Ghoddos shouldnt be playing that deep as a DM though. He should be allowed to freeroam behind Azmoun.

Amen....even with no playing time, no CM in Iran compares to Ezzi.

clearly not, as evident by his pathetic performance in Iraq game, where he not only performed poorly, also failed miserably @ being the cool headed, experienced leader, by getting himself sent-off and paving the way for late goal conceded which put us in this precarious table position we are in now..!
even when he was much younger and at peak of his career, he was too slow (in both Pace and decision making..!) and his overall TM performances were Vastly Inconsistent (id guess more weak than strong ..!)
and obviously now he aint much but a Walking Liability on the pitch (almost literally ) his already weak fitness and form seems to have plummeted to an all time low and he is still as hotheaded and ill-tempered as ever..!
He really needs to hang his TM boots...!! certainly shoulda done that after WC18, imho even way more prior to that..!!
he is taking away valuable spot and chance from far more promising youngsters like Shekari or even Mohebi who showed far more grit and potential than him in the last few WCQs..!
dont get me wrong, i still like, respect and admire the man and his genuine character and personality, but his TM playing days are over, he should perhaps join Dragan's coaching crew and just help out with the boys in the training sessions etc..!! doubt he'd be wanting to coach full time yet? as he is still seems to be earning a decent wage playing ..?

yep, our D to offense transition game has gone to all shittt since his injury and the ensuing Eslooooooooooow recovery..!!

both looking sorta over-weight and outa shape physically ? and one can only hope that their issues are Only Fitness related..!? in case of Saeed, i fear more..!!
