I've forgotten who were the members who wanted Sardar replaced on the national team and called him "wasteful" etc... but the guy talent-wise is head and shoulders above anything we have produced, in any position, in the modern era. He has world-class attributes (anticipation, positioning, heading), some high level ones (pass, pacing, finishing) and others he seems to be improving on.... And he always puts a shift in, however his team has to play to get the result (I never understood how people didn't appreciate what he did in the world cup)...
As I'm typing this, WHAT A dummy and run (what pace!) by him
He is really performing this match

And he needs to work on his 1on1's.
It would have been different if the defender hadn't marked him as well -he would have had more time. This wasn't a 1on1, it was a 1on2....

The one thing he does need to work on, however, is his general pyschological approach to the game. He spends too much time expending energy and emotion putting his arms in the air, actively moping, grimacing, doing things which don't really contribute to the team when things go wrong (to his credit he is always alert though)

His run's are great cause he's strong, pacey and fights off his defender really well but he's even better in the air...must be a defender's nightmare hahaha
