The point is, I’m kidding about Crystal Palace. But if their fans talk too much then we respond. We don’t want our player to go sit on the Crystal Palace bench. Unless it’s written in his contract that he’d be given (this amount# of opportunities) and etc. Sardar is the best Iranian player in the world in 2020. Nobody really is putting down EPL. We’re just experienced as fans when it comes to “Iranian player + EPL = No good”
Good and fair points, however isn't that all what being a fan is all about? To bring yourself high and your club highest as possible? I did not direct that comment at you or anyone in specific but in general. I personally believe everywhere and every club there's good & bad and people shouldn't judge an entirety based off a minortiy. I believe since Sardar is the best Iranian player at present, he should be able to compete at an EPL level where as some of our other players should not set foot anywhere near English football as it is just not for them.

Regarding Ansarifard, I did a Twitter Search a couple of days ago to see what the general consesus was of Nottingham Forrest fans in regards to him and their current striker they have playing: Rafa Mir. There was many crude comments towards Mir and how he has not scored a goal yet for the club, with many of the fans wishing Ansarifard never left the club in the first place. Their previous manager was an idiot, an that reflected as the manager was sacked after player revolts: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...months-charge/ I personally believe if Ansarifard was still at NF he would be a starter under Sabri Lamouchi, however Ansarifard was unlucky with O'Neill who was not a good manager for Forrest with a 42.1% win precentage.

I doubt Azmoun will go to anywhere outside of England. Simply because zenith wants to make big money from his transfer and no one has the purchasing power of EPL clubs except for the super elite.

It was. Earlier this season russian media (either sport express or championat) mentioned dortmund were tracking him.

The link was posted back then cant find it now.

Leverkusen are well known to have made a bid for him as well when he was at Rostov, and again at rubin.

Great wiki link but China, the US and Russia only need to fart and the UK will be blown away. They have been insignificant ever since the second world war. There are only three world powers today and without the US protecting them England would've been Russia's little bitch a long time ago, same goes for Germany and the rest of Europe.

Yeah you’re right about that. To love your club is to defend your club and to be a little irrational. Okay fine, I just don’t think Sardar should go because we want to have at least 1 known player in the world until Alireza gets back in his rhythm.

Damn really? These Nottingham Forest fans I tell you. I love their passion for their club, but man they need to come back down and visit Earth from time to time. Ansarifard was with them but their head coach was a joke. I forgot his name even though I made fun of him a lot lol. That coach, I swear to God man, I doubt he knew who his players were. I think he even said in an interview Nima Nakisa was the keeper of Iran. Once you read something like that your head goes to some places. Now whether or not that was true, that Nottingham coach was old fashioned and basically was holding Karim back. Holding him back at a time where his wife wants to have a kid, he wants to make sure he makes half of his father in law who’s a rich billionaire. I mean the timing of Karim being at Forest was awful. I mean it was just not the best timing nor match for our boy. The chances of clubs signing a 30 year old is slimmer as opposed to signing a young 23 year old player. If he was at Forest when he was 23 and was single I’m willing to bet that he wouldn’t have gone to Qatar.

So Crystal Palace is nice but I want something better for Sardar and that being said Sardar’s agent and family are smart enough to know these situations.

Something else I’d like to add and give credit to, it’s Sardar’s agent who has proven to be a very smart and competent agent at that.

Sardar’s agent supported his move to Zenit St. Petersburg when half of our fans thought it was the end of Sardar.

Sardar’s agent supported his move there and look how well it turned out for him.

Team Chemistry and being fed ball after ball. Then in return scoring goal after goal. Sardar is not perfect, but he delivers.

What he has done for Sardar is very impressive if you as me. And if I was a talented Iranian football player who is also friends with Sardar, I’d ask to speak with his agent. To seek advice or even to help them with making the right move (agent to client).

Kudos to whoever he is. If anyone knows please share his name here.

Firstly, whatever point your trying to put across conflates club and international fandom. You're replying to a post about online comments made by a section of a certain club's fans and generalising it to fandom of the English national team. English fans largely get behind their team like any national team fans. Furthermore your post is laden with unsupported generalisations based on your feelings and interpretations of English football and it's fans. How many English football fans do you know or socialise with? I am one and know plenty. I can't think of many that have expected us to win the last few editions of the World Cup or Euros. I can't think of many who aren't aware that the English league has an abundance of international players that has made it a more exciting product than it was a few decades ago.

The fact is you'd struggle to convince anyone with hard evidence that "they" (meaning all English national team fans) think they're "the best country in football". Off the bat you're wrong with me, as I often have low expectations for the team because we've serially been a QF, lose on penalties team in my lifetime (until last summer that is, more on that later). Furthermore, any fans that do have an inflated sense of expectation beyond optimism going into international tournaments have likely been misled by media coverage during international tournaments. It's a simple formula that sells newspapers. Create hysteria and build them up to either watch them fall or so that they're lauded when they succeed.

Your comparison countries have all reached the World Cup semi final in recent times (though Sweden is going back a bit all the way to 94), as England did a mere 18 months ago. Have you forgotten? If not, then where on Earth do you base your "barley come close" and "have come closer" comments on. For what it's worth England have more of an international pedigree than the other 3 sides you mentioned, having featured at more tournaments and having won more games / having a better win ratio than all but Turkey, though that's skewed by the fact that Turkey have only been able to appear at 2 World Cups in their whole history. There are only a handful of countries with a better finals record than England. Most of you can probably name them as they've won the majority of tournaments.

People on here who bash the Premier League, while at the same time following the league or even make claims to supporting a club, really don't do themselves any favours. Outside of the weird inferiority complex they convey in their feelings toward the league, the facts make light work of those feelings. Time and time again it features as one of the best leagues, if not the best league, in the world from credible sources based on measurable criteria (goals per game, point differential from first to last / how competitive the entire league is, continental wins, etc)... not people's feelings.

In terms of expenditure, there's definitely a premium paid by English clubs given the amount of revenue each club makes in the league, so naturally they spend more than a top Eredivisie, Turkish or Greek Super league team does. If the league is so shit, why were last season's Champions League and Europa League finals an all English contest? Why has no other country achieved that? Yeah, OK mate, the league's shit
boro baba..did you really need to reply to my one paragraph with six of your own..??

yes well done about last season..you sound just like the Sun and the Daily Star newspapers dadash.

What about the previous 6 seasons where La Liga dominated Champions League and Europa League?

What about the fact that if you compare England with the other 3 big coutries of Western Europe in the last 40 years and you see that England is a complete flop compared to Germany (2 WCs, 2 Euros), France (2 WCs, 2 Euros) and Spain (2 WCs and 1 Euro) ?

Sure the reason they spend more is because they have higher revenue..so you admit they spend more right? My point is that despite spending so much they are still not so good, kind of like the UAE or China in our own Asia. The wage bill of a bottom Premier League team is the same as a top 6 Spanish team (non Barca/Real)..isnt that embarassing?

Talent my friend cannot be bought, just ask the Saudi's and UAE, and the same goes for England.

Now I think of it, Azmoun can potentially light up the Premier League if even Jahanbakhsh can shine for a fairly average team like Brighton. Imagine if Azmoun goes to a top 5 EPL team with good players around him who feed him from the wings.

Jahanbakhsh wasted over a year of his prime with this shit.

Dont need to imagine because its not happening. Top 5 of PL are all stacked with top strikers.

Azmoun needs to go somewhere that is a step up from zenit to make it worth it, but a place he also has a good chance of playing.

that’s what i’ve been saying. azmoun is 186 cm which makes him a threat in the air (not to mention his amazing jumping), which is perfect for the prem because there’s so many aerial opportunities. not to mention his touch and pace. azmoun, if he starts, will destroy the prem.
