i think Zenit will have a hard time trying to avoid a loss today..!!
their best CB and supposedly their best AM player are both suspended and they dont fair well away from home in Europe usually and are facing an opponent which is in a red hot form ..!
they'r best aim would be to tank back and earn a low scoring draw..! for a guaranteed promotion to CL playoff round or definitely avoid a heavy loss and hope for red bulls to do them the favor of qualifying them to the next round by beating Lyon....!!both of which is quiet possible and i have a feeling thats for most what will transpire today ..!?
Benfica need a big win tonight 3-1 or better to have any chance of extending their EU ventures this season, be it in UEFA..!
Sardar will need to put in a good shift tonight defensively, pressing Benfica MF up top.. and we all know that aint his forte..!! but he is dangerous AF on the break and quick counters, yet he would need quick outlet and through passes and in general service from Zenit MF/D which is a big ask as they dicker with ball too much before releasing a forward pass or just hoof it up aimlessly ..!!
he is unlikely to be getting too many good scoring chances tonight until late stages of the game when Benfica are likely to throw caution to wind in search of a big win that they need to keep their EU season alive..!! let's hope Sardar hasnt pooped out from chasing shadows and subbed out by then...!
The only distribution zenit know is passing it back to the goalkeeper to hoof it up aimlessly
Sardar has been sloppy in possession too like the rest of Zenit MFdrs
