that was a very bizarre situation, much of it down to berdyev's tactical genius that only worked bc rostov had literally no other choice in their style of play as they were so outgunned.

Just a few months ago, zenit were trashed by a nearly relegated villareal. No, I dont think they are ready to take on the best teams in europe and stand a real chance.

I'm sure most of you know this, but Zenit has gone to the round of 16 three times.
They lost once to BVB and twice to Benfica. Now they meet again.

When he was with Rostov it was an awful team that had a good run, but with Zenit he can actually get the attention of the world. He did well last time and now its time to show you are real.
