Qatar vs Japan Match Thread

When Ali Daei scored alot of goals the Asian Cup had less teams than it has now, less teams participating. less games to play. better quality teams. less chance to score. So its not fair to compare them.
We beating Qatar in a friendly dont make us better than them, its was just a friendly and many teams dont take it that serious.
Us loosing to Japan hurts abit more now when you see that they are not that good as everyone was thinking. How could we let in 3 goals by them and at the same time not even have a game plan.

In 1976 there weren't enough countries with national football programs to fill a 24 team tournament.
Today, there are. This very Qatar we're talking about had only been a member of AFC for 2 years at that point.
Imagine reaching your middle age having followed football most of your life, and NOT being able to figure this stuff out on your own.

The fascinating aspect is that the 88% of the approximately 2.6 million are foreign workers. That puts the indigenous population at about 312K.Originally posted by Tehranto View PostQatar's run is probably the best in Asian Cup history. Without conceding a goal. Scoring like 20 goals. Best defense, best offense.
Khaak to sareh Iran, IFF and this stupid regime. Qatar has like 2.5 million people. And our best stadium is one from the Shah's era and zero government youth development program.

I don't think so, you may have some issues being Iranian, but I sure we would've played a better game, we know Qatar pretty well, it would be easier for us than playing Japan.Originally posted by Leicester City View PostUnpopular opinion: Let’s say Iran made the final, I still think Qatar will win! They are too good.

you are a typical hype guy, everything is hype, Qatar will win the WC, is the next thing you would say. Why do you even care? You said two days ago, you won't follow TM anymore, cheer for Qatar. We are still talking about same Qatar, who played shit against Lebanon, struggled with Iraq. If I read things here like Qatar will be above us, I have to laugh, they played a good tournament, yes but momentum is on their side. It's football, one day you lose, one day you win, in long term we will see what happends, but I would still not count them as an Asian powerhouse, same goes Greece wasn't an European powerhouse after 2004, nor was it Turkey in 2008, they overperformed. Teams will adapt and Qatar will struggle again, don't be such hype people. Qatar overperformed in this tournement as well, mark my words please.Originally posted by Leicester CityYou may have issues being an idiot.

In a 24 team tournament let me know besides your own team how many other teams participate. Your answer should just be a number.Originally posted by FutbolGods View Post

Korea, Japan and Saudi are 'top 23' in Asia. You heard it here folks.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
