Wrong tactic against Japan today, but let’s give some credit to Japan for professional play.
We played using 30% head and 70% heart and they did the opposite and won!

CQ in fact did a great job of attempting to fix some of our cultural issues

So the first good Asian side we play beats us 3-0. I wanted to be so wrong about CQ, but it wasn't meant to be. We have a horrible offense cannot score when we need to, the tactics are the same kick it up and try to get a header. As a team we can't seem to put 3 passes togather against a decent side! And no China is not a good side!

8 years and absolutely nothing to showcase for it! Organised defense but nothing else.

We started the game really nervously then started to grow into it, growing confidence, getting more comfortable on the ball and playing better, but it was in our best moment of the match we conceded an absolutely ridiculous, embarrassing goal. We were still very much in it until the penalty. For some reason, for the first 30 mins and the rest of the game after the penalty we looked completely shot of confidence and without a game plan. I cannot believe how many times we just hoofed it aimlessly up the field. Complete opposite of what we saw against China.

Disappointing, but it is what it is I guess. Emotionally we are also out of control, but this is not something CQ could fix.
