We just didn’t turn up for the second half , once we gave away that first goal by not playing to the whistle and we lost our heads.
Then instead of building the play up we kept hitting it long to Azmoun and giving Japan the play back.
The penalty was unlucky but refs were told to give those in the World Cup.

Overall a tournament with high potential but the pressure got to their heads. Japan were the more mature team and were stronger in the occasion.

We missed the ARJ/Taremi/Azmoun triangles that worked so well against China.

But I love my country , I love my team and they will always have my support. There are no words to describe the excitement and anticipating I get at watching them.

Our tactics were lousy but we lost to the better team today. This was one of our worst losses in this competition. Japan showed us how to play total football. They copied our style of match and did a better job at it too. Tough luck but we need to work harder.
