Anyone up for a crazy trip to UAE? Need advice from UAE members about a few things.

Seriously thinking of taking off on thursday and coming back on saturday. Very tempting. Can we buy tickets at tge stadium?

Where are you flying from? From the US it seems only either Wednesday night or Thursday morning would make it on time. It’s a long flight plus you lose a lot of time due to time zones.

Will fly from zurich, if I decide to take off. It's not really long flight but have a meeting friday morning there.

My only advice if you go would be to get to the stadium at least an hour before kick off to guarantee entry before kick off and stand a good chance to sit in your seat.

I didn't get into the Iraq game until a few minutes before half time. They only had one gate open and the way they had penned in the crowd started getting pretty dangerous once the game kicked off.

These people can't run a sporting event. It was a shambles. I heard the same thing happened at Australia v Palestine. Some Iranians were also to blame. I saw so many fans with fake tickets. Literally just jagged scans of actual tickets.

I expect a final to be just as much of a cluster f**k. Just be careful so it doesn't spoil your experience.

You're right. I went to the Vietnam game and turned up about 25 minutes before kickoff without a problem. Staff at the Al-Nahyan were much more organised, though the attendance was much less.

The game against Oman was packed and still very easy to get in. Dubai was my worst Stadium experience ever. Even worse than Iran
